The I-79 Corridor is served by five major hospital including WVU Hospitals, Mon General Hospital, Fairmont General Hospital, United Hospital Center and Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. The Corridor is also home to the US Veterans Hospital in Clarksburg.
WVU Hospitals is a 450-bed teaching institution that includes Ruby Memorial Hospital, WVU Children's Hospital, Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center, Chestnut Ridge Hospital (behavioral medicine), the Jon Michael Moore Trauma Center, and Rosenbaum Family House. Ruby Memorial provides the highest level of specialty care available to the citizens of West Virginia and bordering states. The Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center is West Virginia's most comprehensive cancer treatment, research and education facility, offering a multidisciplinary approach and state-of-the-art treatment options, as well as access to current clinical trials, a variety of education and prevention outreach programs and some of the top researchers in the country. The Cancer Center, operated by West Virginia University Hospitals, houses the Cancer Information Service -- an NCI-funded national information and education network -- and operates the network's toll-free hotline (1-800-4-CANCER). Other Cancer Center facilities include the Betty Puskar Breast Care Center and the WVU Blood and Marrow Transplant/Hematologic Malignancy Program - the only program of its kind offered in West Virginia.

Fairmont General Hospital, a 268 bed facility is a fully accredited facility by the JCAHO and licensed by the State of WV. FGH is a community health care organization providing a wide range of inpatient care, extensive outpatient and diagnostic services, home based care and offers a skilled nursing facility for extended care.
Mon General, a 207 bed community hospital, and its medical staff are known for the HeartCare Center, Surgical Services, Orthopedic Center, The Birth Center, The Surgical Eye Center of Morgantown, Pediatric Services, and a wide variety of Primary Care and Internal Medicine Services. We are also proud of our many new additions, including The Sleep Center, The Wound Healing Center, and The Center for Complementary Medicine.
Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital is a 70-bed acute care facility, fully accredited by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and is a member of the American Hospital Association. We offer a comprehensive range of services to patients, from birth to geriatric care.
